The development of the European Union, Great Britain’s Brexit quarrel and the omission of Grexit are examples of the major importance of international co-operation. More and more German enterprises are assuming the business nature of a European Public Company (SE) in order to expand within the European Union as well as into the European Economic Area. Successful international communication, mainly in English as the official business language, is the key for this co-operation.
In the course of skills shortage also German as a foreign language has gained importance with German enterprises. In many cases international skilled labour fills the gaps which currently cannot be covered by the domestic labour market. Helping build language and intercultural bridges of improved communication is my profession.
